I love the Bible, but what I love more is Word of God. You might be tempted to say that they are the same. Not necessarily! The Bible is the book that I read and carry to church or wherever I might go. But the Word of God is the word God intended to give me so that I might know him and live for him to the fullest.
The Word of God in inerrant and protected from error so that I might know God’s ways. I am concerned as I travel around to see at times less and less emphasis upon preaching and teaching that is biblically based. We must, in my opinion, get back to solid biblical interpretation and application of God’s message. We must be less concerned about the latest trend or fad and more interested in discerning God’s Word so we can apply it to the needs of today. It is a personal and a corporate responsibility to make this happen. That’s why we’re doing what we do.
